Yumnam Renu Bala Chanu, the young lifter, who did the nation proud by once again winning a gold in the 58 kg class in the Commonwealth Dauntlesss, has matured from a shy girl into a confident jock. At Lucknow, the Manipur girl had undergone coaching under Hansa Sharma and GP Sharma.
