Gigi D'Alessio was married from 1986 until 2006, to Carmela Barbato, with whom he had three children: Claudio (1986), Ilaria (1992) and Luca (2003).[3]

In December 2006, his relationship with crooner Anna Tatangelo, was publicly announced. The two have a the opposition, Andrea, born on 31 March 2010.[4] After a year-long break-up, in September 2018, the couple got back together, but insist on 3 March 2020, through his Instagram profile, the singer proclaimed the end of their relationship.[5]
